Magic Show

As you know, our March is Reading Month theme is “Reading is Magical” and we kicked off the month with spectacular (professional) magic show. To celebrate all our hard work in reading we’re going to end the month with another magic show this time with your children, our staff and maybe some parents as our Magicians. We’re inviting any and all students (staff and parents too) to research, study, and practice a magic trick and come to the auditions this week.

Auditions will be held as follows:

Wednesday, March 25th – Young Fives, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd & 3rd grades (during recess)

Thursday, March 26th – 4th &5th grades (during recess)

Friday, March 27th – Walk-Ins 10:45-12:00 (parents & teachers this is a great time if you have a trick for us!!)

The Magic Show will be held on Thursday, April 2nd (time TBD) – more information to come about the actual show.

School Breakfast
Breakfast 2

School Breakfast… We encourage all students to eat a nutritious breakfast which will prepare them for their school day.  Research shows that students who eat breakfast:
   *Score better on standardized tests.
   *Improve academic achievement
   *Have fewer health issues
   *Behave better in class.
A school breakfast can provide peace of mind for parents who are often rushed in the morning trying to send children off to school.  ALL STUDENTS are eligible to participate in the school breakfast program.  If your child walks, takes a bus or arrives to school by car, they may still have breakfast at school.  If your child receives a free or reduced price lunch they also receive a free or reduced price breakfast.  There is no extra paper work required.  Please call your kitchen staff with any questions.  Kitchen phone numbers are located on the back side of each monthly menu.
    Breakfast                       $1.60
    Reduced Price Breakfast  $  .30
    Free Breakfast                 Free!
